Mauri is pleased to present on the market and to all its customers a new product in our range of inserts: the result of an innovative forging process developed by our technicians, the product is able to satisfy a large variety of fastening in various industrial sectors, ensuring a high level of precision and reliability, suitable for use on different types of materials based.
We are pleased to introduce M-NUT- 645Q7, a special variation of a sawtooth “T” nut, an insert with four anchoring prongs and retaining teeth positioned on the product shank. After the first phase of cold forging, the product is rolled to create the annular grooves and subsequently finished with the tapping of the internal thread. The advantage deriving from the characteristics of the new M-NUT- 645Q7 consists in the anti-extraction capacity from the presence of an annular toothing on the shank, a quality aimed at reducing the possibility that the insert could be rejected outside during the action of screwing the bolt.
The new M-NUT product is the result of a metal wire cold forging that is practically free of waste compared to a conventional sheet metal shearing: this reduced consumption of raw materials and reduction of waste represents an important step for Mauri towards a transition process ecological towards sustainability, offering the international market a proposal of high-performance, high-quality products with a reduced environmental impact. Finally, the type of process used in the deformation guarantees a high level of work hardening and therefore resistance to stress compared to a conventional sheet metal forming.
